What was Langansel's Problem?

Langansel, a Idaho local musician, was looking to increase the amount of monthly listeners he had on Spotify. Through such, he could build better credibility with news publications, creating a snow ball that could grow larger and larger with time.

However, as he tried to naturally increase his following through instagram DM'ing and continuous new releases, the amount of time spent into these efforts never equalled the results he wanted - only having 50 monthly listeners, with 200 watches per new release.

He hired us to help increase his listener base, and to increase loyal fans that would continually help in snowballing his artists growth.

What we did to Fix it.

Doing research into successful music marketing practices, we created YouTube and TikTok campaigns that focused on niche demographics that catered to his music genre, as well as those wanting to discover "basement" or "indie" type bands. From this, A/B testing was done on a landing page once a link was clicked where users could select whether they wanted further information.

What were the Results?

From these campaign efforts, we increased the views on releases to 3,000, being an incredible 1,644.70% increase. Furthermore, on Spotify, we increased his 50 monthly listeners to over 6,000, with many songs surpassing this amount of listens.

Langansel can now begin reaching out to publications, continue to build loyalty from the potential traffic of listeners, and communicate with soon to be loyal fans.
